Isabella Rossellini To Be Honored With Other Women Leaders On Long Island
She will be honored with 17 others, including News 12's Lily Stolzberg, longtime civic leaders Bea Ruberto and Maura Spery.
FARMINGVILLE, NY — Italian-American actress Isabella Rossellini is part of a bevy of local women leaders who have been chosen to receive special awards as part of Women's Recognition Night at Brookhaven Town Hall this month.
Rossellini, who has a home in Brookhaven, has been tapped to receive a special commendation award from the Town Board, representing the 4th Council District at the March 20 event. Rossellini operates a farm in Brookhaven and maintains an active role in the South Shore's arts and environment scene.
She was honored Sunday night as a nominee for Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards for her performance in "Conclave."

Supervisor Daniel J. Panico has chosen Brookhaven Town Attorney Annette Eaderesto of Brookhaven. Councilman Jonathan Kornreich has chosen Dr. Jennifer Quinn of East Setauket, and Councilwoman Jane Bonner, longtime civic leader, Bea Ruberto of Sound Beach.
Councilman Neil Manzella has chosen Linda Miller of Selden, and Councilman Neil Foley, Mary Bailey of Blue Point, and Councilwoman Karen Dunne Kesnig, Maura Spery of Mastic Beach.

- Business Mary Beth Lichtneger of Center Moriches.
- Communications: News 12's Lily Stolzberg of Miller Place.
- Community Services Professional: Jennifer Hernandez of Mount Sinai.
- Community Service Volunteer: Debra L. Engelhardt of Wading River.
- Education: Leah Topek-Walker of Patchogue.
- Government: Leslie Mitchel of Port Jefferson.
- Health Care Provider: Christina Burke of Stony Brook Medicine.
- Law Enforcement: Megan O’Donnell, a Calverton resident with District Attorney Ray Tierney’s office.
- Legal Profession: Stephanie Buffa, of East Setauket.
- Medicine: Dr. Rachel Davis of Roslyn/Stony Brook Medicine.
- Science: Dr. Gabriella Carini of Port Jefferson.
