LONG ISLAND, NY — Long Island's own Debbie Gibson will perform her new show, "Newstalgia Live Greatest Hits & Beyond," at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on Nov. 21.

The former teen pop queen from Merrick debuted at just 16 with her 1987 hit, "Only in my dreams," and later made history with her Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper,“Foolish Beat,” which is a record that still stands, making her the youngest female artist to write, produce, and perform a No. 1 hit, concert organizers say.

Throughout her career, she has sold over 16 million in album sales and has a prolific theatrical career spanning 17 musicals, including "Les Misérables," "Beauty and the Beast," "Grease on the West End," and "Cabaret."

She is set to release her upcoming memoir, "Eternally Electric," through Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, this fall.
