Man Critically Hurt As Vehicle Crashes Into Building In Patchogue: Police
He was taken to NYU Langone Hospital - Suffolk in East Patchogue, Suffolk police say.
PATCHOGUE, NY — A man was critically hurt in a single-vehicle crash in Patchogue early Monday morning, Suffolk police said.
The 42-year-old Patchogue man was driving a 2017 Honda Accord at a high rate of speed southbound on North Ocean Avenue in Patchogue when he drove through the intersection with Main Street and struck the storefront formerly used by Florsheim Shoes on South Ocean Avenue at around 5:30 a.m., according to police.
The man was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk in East Patchogue where he was admitted in
critical condition, police said.

The Honda was impounded for a safety check, according to police.
