Man Shoots Gun Into Group In Suffolk, Hitting Woman Twice: Police
A man fired three rounds from a handgun at a group of people in front of a home, police say.
BELLPORT, NY — A woman was struck by two bullets on Tuesday night in Bellport, Suffolk police said.
A man fired three shots from a handgun at a group of people who were in front of a home on Provost Avenue at approximately 10:40 p.m., police said. A 25-year-old woman was struck twice, police said. The shooter fled the scene, police said.
The woman was brought to a local hospital for treatment of injuries that are not life-threatening, police said.
