Maureen Veitch Wins Bellport Village Election

She defeated Kieran Murphy 646-211, according to the village's website. Lorraine Kuehn and Michael Young were elected trustees.

BELLPORT, NY — Maureen Veitch was elected to replace term-limited Mayor Ray Fell in Bellport Village, according to results from Tuesday's election on the village's website.

Veitch garnered 646 votes to Trustee Kieran Murphy's 211.

Newcomers Lorraine Kuehn and Michael Young garnered 660 and 646 votes as trustees, respectively.
