New McDonald's Coming To Suffolk County: Report
Construction for a new McDonald's in Suffolk County will begin soon, according to a report by Long Island Business News.
EAST PATCHOGUE, NY — Construction for a new McDonald's in East Patchogue will begin soon, according to a report by Long Island Business News.
The outlet said the new build will replace the fast-food giant's existing restaurant, which will be demolished and replaced with a new, "one-story, 4,359-square-foot restaurant with a modernized design, accessory drive-through and site and landscaping improvements."
The current drive-thru will remain open as long as possible and the dining room will open shortly after construction is complete, LIBN said.

LIBN said the current East Patchogue McDonald's has been at the Montauk Highway location for nearly 60 years and is owned and operated by franchisee Jonah Kaufman.
McDonald's representatives were not immediately available for comment.
