Pat-Med Varsity Cheerleaders Heading To Nationals For 1st Time In 20 Years

PATCHOGUE, NY — The Patchogue-Medford High School Varsity Cheerleading Team has advanced on the cheering circuit to compete in the National Cheerleading Competition for the first time in 20 years, according to an email from the team's leadership.
The team will compete next month at Disney World in Orlando, FL.
Team members are looking for sponsors to help fund their trip to the tournament, according to the email. Sponsors will have their logo on signs and t-shirts, as well as an invitation to a pep rally before the team's send-off on Feb. 8.

"This is an incredible opportunity for these local students who will be highlighting our community to a national audience, as well as an opportunity for you and your business to share in this national attention," the email stated.
