1. Patchogue Railroad Avenue is the place to go to enjoy the Fall Fest hosted by Burgerology.The event kicks off on Oct. 23 from 2 to 6 p.m. A Dj will be in charge of the hits. Various local breweries will come out to serve their craft beer, offer giveaways and more. (Patchogue Patch)
2. For those looking forward to finding a home to purchase in Patchogue, stay tuned to four open houses coming up in the neighborhood. (Patchogue Patch)
3. Don't forget to recycle! The following recycling day pickup in the Village is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 12. Two bulk items will be allowed. No glass items will be collected. (Patchogue Village)
4. According to a poll released by Siena College, Democrat Kathy Hochul is ahead of Republican Lee Zeldin by 54-37. The College's data show Hochul had a growth of three points since the last poll in August. (Long Island News 12)
