Patchogue-Medford Brings Together Generations of Musicians for Community Concert

Ensembles Include Students, Alumni, Faculty, Staff, Parents, and Community Members

MEDFORD, NEW YORK—On Friday, August 1st, the Patchogue-Medford School District will proudly present the Third Annual Patchogue-Medford Community Concert at 7:00 p.m. in the Patchogue-Medford High School auditorium. The family-friendly evening will include joyful music and showcase performances by the community band, chorus, and orchestra. Additionally, pre-show entertainment will be provided by the summer music rock/jazz band. Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend.

“We are thrilled to bring together so many generations of talented musicians,” said Patchogue-Medford School District Director of Art, Music, and Cultural Arts Nathan Brinkman. “It is more than just a concert. It is a celebration of camaraderie, creativity, and community pride.”

The summer music rock/jazz band, led by Saxton Middle School orchestra teacher Boris Salgado, will kick off the show, welcoming audience members with an energetic set and preparing them for an evening of lively music and unity. The community band, chorus, and orchestra comprise a dynamic mix of current students, alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and community members. These musicians have practiced diligently this summer and connected through a shared love of music.
