Patchogue Singer Christian Guardino Makes Another 'American Idol' Week
The Long Island crooner has now cracked the top 11 finalist list, with his rendition of "Take Me To Church" by Hozier on Sunday's show.
PATCHOGUE, NY — Christian Guardino, Long Island's hometown "American Idol" singer, has survived another week on the show. Guardino, 21, sang "Take Me to Church" by Hozier on Sunday's episode, which garnered him enough votes to make it into the top 11 contestants and appear again Monday night.
Guardino was born with a condition causing blindness, but due to an experimental treatment, was able to regain some eyesight.
"Thank you again so so much. I feel like I'm in the best dream and don't [want to] wake up. Love you all and let's do it again tomorrow night," Guardino posted Sunday on his official Facebook page.
