Patchogue's Great South Bay Music Festival: What You Need To Know

The four-day music festival kicks off Thursday at Shorefront Park, for the 14th year, after a two-year hiatus.

PATCHOGUE, NY — The Great South Bay Music Festival is back this week in Patchogue after two years off due to the pandemic. In its 14th year, the festival is the longest-running one of its kind on Long Island.

The four-day festival takes place in Shorefront Park in Patchogue. Starting Thursday, 55 performers will play on four stages, from genres as diverse as classic rock, jazz, jam-band, country, folk, zydeco, hip hop and funk.

There is also a "KIDZONE" with children's entertainment on Saturday and Sunday, a food court, beer and wine and art shows.

WHERE

Shorefront Park is located at 99 Smith Street in Patchogue. VIP ticket holders have nearby parking included, and general ticket holders can use this guide to parking options.

WHEN

The festival will take place rain or shine, Thursday 3 to 10 p.m., Friday 3 to 11 p.m., Saturday 1 to 11 p.m. and Sunday 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Attendees cannot reenter.

TICKETS

Tickets are available on the day of the event at the festival's box office.

MUSIC

Thursday's headliners are Grouplove and Manchester Orchestra. On Friday Rebelution and Steel Pulse will play. Tedeschi Trucks Band takes the stage on Sunday.
