"Long Island's floating party boat" opens for the second summer on the Patchogue River with an opening celebration on Wednesday.

PATCHOGUE, NY — "Long Island's floating party boat" will return to Patchogue this summer. Paddle Pub returns for a second season starting Wednesday with a grand opening ceremony at Dublin Deck.
The Paddle Pub of Long Island is a 26-passenger, pedal-powered pontoon boat that groups of revelers can rent. The boats come with sound systems and party lights and are designed for adults to use as a floating cruise.
On May 4 from 5 to 7 p.m., Paddle Pub will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to kick off the 2022 season. There will be "small bites and libations" and a boat tour at 6 p.m.

The pontoon boats can be rented in their entirety for big parties or smaller groups can join mixer cruises. Rentals are a minimum of two hours. Paddlers can pack coolers with beverages. Dublin Deck, at 325 River Ave. in Patchogue, will partner with Paddle Pub this summer to offer pre-cruise packages for those who want to start or end at the riverfront bar and restaurant.
According to Paddle Pub's website, the company will be adding two new Long Island locations, Port Jefferson and Massapequa, to the current Patchogue and Huntington spots.
