PATCHOGUE, NY — The public hearing to consider a change of zone from E-Industrial to the Hotel District for the shuttered bowling alley property at the corner of West Ave and Division Street will continue on Tuesday, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Patchogue said.

West Avenue Partners, LLC is reportedly asking for a zone change to convert the Bowl Long Island bowling alley at 138 West Avenue into a Tempo hotel, which is backed by Hilton.

The proposal includes a five-story structure containing 96 hotel rooms and 13 rental apartments, a plan which was downscaled from a six-story building with 116 hotel rooms and 16 apartments, Newsday reported.
