PATCHOGUE, NY — They're promising to bring Long Beach to Long Island this summer.
Reggae/ska punk band icons Sublime will play the Great South Bay Music Festival in their only metro-area appearance, along with their opening act, Commons Kings, on Friday, July 24.
The band is known for tunes like, "Santeria," "What I got," Doin' Time," and "Wrong Way."

The band is made up of original members — bassist Eric Wilson and drummer Bud Gaugh, as well as singer-guitarist Jakob Nowell, who is the son of late frontman Bradley Nowell.
The band has played the festival in 2018 and 2019.

Also announced this week is that My Morning Jacket will play Sunday night.
Tickets run from around $98 to $270, with varying degrees of accessibility to the stage.
