All stores with a witch hat are offering a discount.

At 6 p.m., witches will meet under the tent at Avino's Italian Table, then at 7:30 p.m., then they can "fly their brooms" over to Porter's on the Lane, organizers said, adding that at 9 p.m., witches can "follow the moonlight" to The Bellport for live music.

On Saturday, there will be a Halloween Parade and trick-or-treating along the Business District from noon to 2 p.m.

Parade participants can line up at the firehouse at 11:30 a.m. for the announcement of the scarecrow contest winners, and then start marching down Main Street over to the Village Green.

Children can also walk over to the historical society for pumpkin carving and decorating, organizers say.
