1 Killed After Being Hit By New Haven Line Train In Port Chester
The incident caused around 20 passengers to be safely transferred to another in-service train at 2:47 a.m., MTA officials told Patch.

PORT CHESTER, NY — One person is dead after being struck at the Port Chester station by a Stamford-bound Metro-North train.
The person killed was trespassing on the tracks, according to Metro-North officials.
An MTA spokesperson told Patch that the New Haven Line was temporarily delayed while EMS, MTA police and Metro-North Railroad employees investigated the incident, which took place on Track 3 at the Port Chester station shortly after 2 a.m. on Wednesday.

The victim has not yet been identified.
The incident resulted in an approximately 30-minute delay, with around 20 passengers safely transferred to another in-service train at 2:47 a.m., MTA officials said.
