Gas Smell Leads to Port Chester Library Evacuation
No problem found, library re-opened.

The Port Chester Library was evacuated briefly on Monday because a report that someone smelled what they thought was an odor of gas, according to Port Chester Police.
The library was evacuated at about 5:13 p.m. and members of the Port Chester Fire Department, Port Chester Police and the Port Chester Building Department went to the library to check for a problem.
Police said an inspection of the building found that there was no problem and library patrons and staff were allowed back into the facility.
