HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Metro-North Railroad will suspend service on the New Haven Line and on the Wassaic branch of the Harlem Line on Sunday as Hurricane Henri is forecast to hit the region hard.

In addition, service on the Hudson and Harlem lines will be limited to once every two hours, and there will be no buses on the Waterbury branch.

“The projected path of Hurricane Henri shows the most significant potential impacts will be to Metro-North customers in Connecticut, but current forecasts predict tropical storm-force winds across our territory," said Metro-North President Catherine Rinaldi. “Metro-North territory is particularly vulnerable to high winds due to trees and overhead power wires ... Harlem and Hudson Line customers should avoid unnecessary travel and continue to check the MTA website or Twitter for additional updates, as additional service changes may be required as the storm moves through our area."
