Grahame Lesh Plans 2026 ‘Unbroken Chain' Run At The Capitol Theatre For Phil's Birthday (liveforlivemusic.com) — Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre will again host Grahame Lesh’s four-night Unbroken Chain residency March 12–15, 2026, continuing Phil Lesh’s birthday tradition in the village. The shows feature rotating all-star lineups of his collaborators and will benefit the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, which last year received over $250,000 from the run. Tickets go on sale December 19.
   

2. Jet Fuel Tanker Rolls Over At Westchester County Airport With Driver Trapped Inside (dailyvoice.com) — Port Chester firefighters and EMS helped rescue a trapped driver after a jet fuel tanker rolled over late Monday night at Westchester County Airport, causing an active fuel leak. Working with neighboring departments and the county hazmat team, they extricated the driver, contained the spill, and oversaw offloading and uprighting the tanker before all units returned to service.
   

3. Foreigner Strike Gold With Playlist (antimusic.com) — Port Chester recently hosted a special moment for classic rock fans when Foreigner’s “FOREIGNER 4 Deluxe” tour kicked off here and original singer Lou Gramm presented the band with gold records. The piece explains how their 2016 compilation “Playlist: The Very Best of Foreigner” just earned RIAA gold, underscoring the group’s lasting popularity and ongoing tour.
   

4. Westchester County Youth Bureau Joins Lower Hudson Valley My Brother's Keeper Alliance 2025 Youth Leadership Summit (riverjournalonline.com) — Port Chester youth took part alongside peers from across Westchester at a regional My Brother’s Keeper Youth Leadership Summit focused on leadership, empowerment, and overcoming obstacles for young men of color. The day at SUNY Westchester Community College featured youth-led panels, alumni speakers, and encouragement from state and county education leaders. Organizers say the gathering helps build a supportive network across Hudson Valley districts.
   

5. Rabbi Eliezer Diamond, beloved Jewish Theological Seminary professor and author, dies at 73 (sun-sentinel.com) — A beloved Jewish Theological Seminary professor, Rabbi Eliezer Diamond, has died at 73, and his impact is being remembered by students across the region, including Port Chester. Rabbi Ben Goldberg of Congregation KTI in Port Chester shared a heartfelt tribute, recalling Diamond’s deep care for students and the personal guidance that shaped many rabbis’ lives and teaching.
