Police Looking For Brazen, Hoodie-Clad Porch Pirate Suspect
Port Chester police have released footage that appears to show the man casually snatching 3 packages from the porch of a Westchester home.
PORT CHESTER, NY — A so-called "porch pirate" filched packages from a Westchester home, but this time, it appears that the suspect has been caught on camera.
The Port Chester Police Department said it is investigating the theft of packages off the porch of a South Regent Street home.
While in this case, it appears that the suspect was a little sloppy, law enforcement is reminding homeowners to take whatever steps they can to not tempt fate.

"We remind residents that this is a nationwide trend of stealing property after it was just delivered, and ask residents to be vigilant," police officials said in a statement that accompanied the security footage.
