Port Chester Driver Was Double The Legal Limit: NY State Police

Troopers said the man pulled over on I-95 in New Rochelle was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A traffic stop on the New England Thruway ended with an arrest after, according to New York State troopers, the driver had a BAC more than twice the legal limit.

On Sunday, at approximately 1:15 p.m., state police stopped a vehicle on I-95 in New Rochelle for traffic violations. It turns out the driver, Jesus Garcia Flores of Port Chester, was drunk, according to state police. The 31-year-old was taken into custody and processed at SP New Rochelle where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.19 percent, according to troopers.

Flores was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated.

He was released to a third party with an appearance ticket returnable to the City of New Rochelle Court on August 15.
