PORT CHESTER, NY — The world is a little bit of a better place today, in part because a few local teens made an effort to help neighbors in need.

Some dedicated and caring Port Chester High School students donated a massive haul of nonperishable food items to the Don Bosco Community Center, a local organization that helps feed those in the local community facing food insecurity.

The Principals Promise Academy worked with the school's Key Club students to organize the food drive, which yielded more than 600 pounds of food.
