Port Chester Library Hosts ShopRite Job Fair

The Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library is hosting a jobs fair that will provide information on employment opportunities with ShopRite.

The fair is set for Wednesday, March 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the library, 1 Haseco Ave., Port Chester. Information will be available about part-time positions and career opportunities with the supermarket company.

The hiring staff of the ShopRite of New Rochelle is scheduled to be at the library for the jobs fair.

ShopRite is operated by Wakefern Food Corp., a retailer-owned cooperative, based in Keasbey, NJ. The company describes itself as the largest supermarket cooperative in the U.S.

There are more than 220 ShopRite Supermarkets located throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware and Maryland, with ShopRite reporting that it serves more than 5 million customers each week.
