Port Chester PD Seeking Info About Woman Challenged At JFK Elementary

Update from Port Chester Police:

Due to this post,the individual came forward and as stated it was a misunderstanding. Again, we will always err on the side of caution.

Although, there are a few who have concerns about the school's policy,in this case it proved to work.

We would like to thank the public for the help in providing information to get this incident clarified.

To clear up any confusion, PCPD is attempting to identify the below pictured individual. This individual attempted to pick up a child at JFK elementary.

This individual was not on the authorized list or known to the family,staff or Child.

While this maybe a misunderstanding, until we locate this individual and speak with her we will err on the side of caution.
