Student Hurt In HS Football Game Melee, Police Seek Cell Footage

PCPD says it is continuing to identify the perpetrators involved in the fight at the end of Saturday's Port Chester Rams-Poughkeepsie game.

PORT CHESTER, NY — The Port Chester Police Department is asking for help from the public with a violent incident at a high school varsity football game this weekend.

Police say that at the end of Saturday's PC Rams-Poughkeepsie varsity football game at Port Chester High School, a fight broke out which led to an assault. Port Chester and Rye Brook police officers were able to separate those fighting and restore order, according to police.

One Port Chester High School student was injured and treated at a local hospital.

Police have a video taken during the incident and are now seeking any additional videos that witnesses might have.

PCPD says they will be investigating the incident and will continue to identify the perpetrators involved. While all of those involved are juveniles, police say the incident will be investigated and forwarded to the proper authorities.
