- Puppy lovers in Port Jefferson will have a unique new annual event to add to their calendar! The first Port Paws Dog Festival is in July and is coming to stay! The event will be held at the Joe Erland Field on Caroline Avenue. Dogs will run tracks and show their talents while running on trucks and jumping competitions. (Greater Long Island)
- Setauket's Kara Hahn announced the suspension of her campaign to run for congress. The announcement was sent by email. In an interview, Hahn said she won't be on the ballot but will continue to work in the Suffolk Legislature Office. (TBR News Media)
