ICYMI: Port Washington Eatery Shuts Its Doors

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — A popular Mexican restaurant known for its tacos has permanently closed for business. Mi Ranchito Grill, which was located at 195 Manorhaven Blvd. in Port Washington, recently shut down after the owners said they were unable to negotiate a new lease with the building's owner.
"Happy New Year from our family to yours," the restaurant owners said in a note posted to the doors of the business. "We thank you for your support and patronage over the past 20 years, but unfortunately we have had unsuccessful negotiations to renew our lease, and we have no choice but to close this location."
