Manhasset Secondary Ranked Among Best High Schools In NY
The school got high marks in the U.S. News & World Report's annual list.

MANHASSET, NY — Manhasset Secondary School was selected as one of the best high schools in the state, according to the annual list by U.S. News & World Report.
Manhasset Secondary School ranked number 23 out of 1,276 schools statewide and fourth-best on Long Island.
“We are so proud of our Manhasset High School students, teachers, administrators and families for earning this incredible recognition,” said Manhasset Board of Education President Ted Post.

Schools are ranked based on their performance in state-required tests, graduation and how well they prepare students for college.
“Being named one of the best schools in New York — and among the very top on Long Island — reflects the spirit of this community. Manhasset has always been a place where people rally together in support of our children, and this honor belongs to all of us," Post added.

Principal Dr. Richard Roder also credits the entire community.
“Our success is truly a collective effort, and it shows what can happen when a community comes together to support its schools," he said.
