Police Investigating Flower Hill Burglary
A man was seen in a Center Drive home after a sliding glass door was shattered Wednesday morning, police say.

Nassau Police are investigating a burglary in Flower Hill that occurred Wednesday morning.
Detectives say that at 10:30 a.m., a woman, 78, was upstairs in her Center Drive home when she heard a loud crash emanating from downstairs. The woman walked downstairs onto the main floor and observed a sliding glass door shattered. She then spotted a large tan SUV parked in her driveway with the motor running and a man entering the vehicle who fled south on Center Drive.
The man is described as in his 20s, dressed in all black, with light brown hair, and carrying a sack, police say.

Proceeds were assorted jewelry and coins. There were no reported injuries, according to police.
