PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Schreiber High School and Weber Middle School celebrated their "Unity in the Community" day held in October, said the office of Town of North Hempstead Council Member Mariann Dalimonte, who joined the Port Washington School District's event.

The event was first founded by the PACERs National Bullying Prevention Center in 2006. Attendees wore orange with the shared goal to unite for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion and to send a message that no child should be bullied.
