22-Year-Old Fatally Shot At Crown Heights' Albany Houses: Cops

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A 22-year-old was shot at the Albany Houses on Sunday in the second fatal shooting in the neighborhood in just a few days, according to police.

Police found the 22-year-old man shot in the chest multiple times at a building on Troy Avenue near Park Place just after 1 a.m., according to police. He was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The shooting comes just a few days after a Myles Jabateh, 19, was found shot less than a mile away on Prospect Place on Thursday afternoon.

The 19-year-old man was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but succumbed to his injuries on Friday, police said.

There have been no photos of suspects released in the death of the 22-year-old and there were no arrests in either shooting as of Monday morning.
