5 Things: Storytelling at LaunchPad and Affordable Pilates

What you need to know, pre-coffee.

1. Hear a good story. Tonight there's Another Round Storytelling at LaunchPad. 721 Franklin Ave. at Park. 8 p.m. $5 donation requested.

2. Hit the mat. Now there's Cost by donation Pilates mat classes at Pura Vida Urban Fitness. 184 Underhill Ave. (right near Blue Marble, so you can balance the lost calories out), 6:15 p.m. $5 or more suggested.

3. Laugh a little. Tonight is your last chance to catch Somebody Up There Likes Me, a "deadpan comedic fable" playing at BAM for a one-week run. The film is a mix of supernatural and sardonic humor featuring the talents of Parks and Recreation’s Nick Offerman, Megan Mullaly, Andrew Bujalski, Alex Ross Perry, Kate Lyn Sheil, and other surprises. BAMCinematek, 4:30 p.m. $13

4. Pony up. If you didn't register already for a chance to receive free general admission tickets to this year's GoogaMooga food and music festival in Prospect Park, that ship has sailed. There are still paid ticket options available, however, for both the Friday kickoff concert and the Sunday VIP Cocktail Experience (Saturday's VIP seats are sold out). Click here to learn more.
