Barclays Thief Steals Scotch And iPads, Cops Say

PROSPECT HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A man in search of a good time stole three iPads and a bottle of scotch from the Barclays Center last weekend, police said.

The bearded burglar strolled into the Brooklyn Nets arena at Atlantic Avenue near Dean Street about 4:50 a.m. Sunday, said police.

He grabbed an unopened bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue scotch whiskey, three Apple tablets, and left, police said.

Police released photos of the suspected thief Thursday morning and described him as a man in his 30s with brown eyes, brown hair, mustache and beard.

He was last seen wearing a lanyard, jeans, a black hat, grey work boots, and a white sweat shirt.
