Crown Heights Teen Mom Goes Missing With 2 Month Old Son: NYPD

Shantay Howington, 15, and her baby Demontae haven't been seen since Oct. 5, police said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for a missing 15-year-old from Crown Heights and her infant son.

The mom, Shantay Howington, was last seen at her home, located at 1162 Dean St., just after 3 a.m. on Oct. 5, according to the NYPD. Shantay was with her baby, two-month-old Demontae Howington, at the time.

Detectives describe Shantay, pictured above, as standing five-feet-four-inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing green pants, a multi-color shirt, black sneakers and a black jacket. Her baby, Demontae, was seen wearing a grey onesie.

Anyone with information about either Shantay or Demontae can confidentially report it using the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers website or by anonymously calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
