Man Arrested In Double Shooting That Killed Crown Heights Mom: PD
Oliver Case, 29, was charged with murder Tuesday for the Aug. 19 killing, police said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A suspect has been charged with murder in the double shooting that killed a Crown Heights mom over the summer, according to police.
Oliver Case, 29, was charged Tuesday with murder, attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon for the Aug. 19 homicide, which unfolded Aug. 19 on St. Johns Place, police said.
The shooting killed 54-year-old Limose Thomas, who was shot in the chest, and injured a 30-year-old man, according to police. The man was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The arrest comes about two months after police released photos of Case, asking the public to help find him for questioning.
Police have said Thomas was likely not the intended target of the shooting, which happened as she was walking to her doorstep on the way home from work, according to police and reports.
