Man Carjacked On Crown Heights Street, Police Say

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — A man sitting inside his parked car with a friend was forcibly removed by two thieves, who then sped off with the stolen vehicle, according to police.

On July 21, a 19-year-old and a 22-year-old were sitting inside the 19-year-old's car at the northwest corner of Carroll Street and Kingston Avenue around midnight when the duo was approached by two thieves, according to officials.

The two mystery men then forced the victims out of the car before speeding off in it, police said.

No injuries were reported, and the car was later recovered by police, but the two suspects remain at large.

The first suspect is described as a man with a slim build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and white sweatpants. The second suspect is described as a man with a slim build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark sweatpants and black sneakers.
