A 48-year-old man was found with head trauma in Crown Heights before he was pronounced dead, police said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — A 48-year-old man was killed in a violent dispute on Sunday morning in a Crown Heights home, police said Monday.

An NYPD spokeswoman was unable to specify how the argument started, but police said in a statement that officers responded to 911 call reporting an assault in progress at a home in the 1770 block of Union Street on Sunday. Police found Rodolfo Rosa with head trauma and transported him to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said. Rosa was a resident of Arlington, Virginia, according to police.

Emergency responders also transported a 69-year-old man to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Rosa's death is being investigated as a homicide, and the 69-year-old man is being questioned but was not immediately arrested, police said. Police did not immediately identify the 69-year-old.
