Man Punched On Crown Heights B44 Bus: Police

A man and a woman pummeled a 62-year-old on a Nostrand Avenue bus on Feb. 24, police said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A man was punched on a Nostrand Avenue bus last month by a young man and woman, police said.

On Feb. 24, at just after 5 p.m., a 62-year-old man was riding a B44 bus on Nostrand Avenue near Sterling Place when a man and woman approached him, police said.

The unidentified man then punched the victim several times in the face with his fist, causing minor injuries, officials said. The victim was then brought to Kings County Hospital by first responders for minor injuries.

Both the young man and woman fled on foot, officials said.

Police released video footage of the two individuals before and after the incident, they claim.

In 2021, at about the same location, two men fought aboard another B44 bus, resulting in one of the men ditching a pistol onboard before fleeing.
