Man Shot Dead Inside PLG Bodega, Cops Say

PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS, BROOKLYN — A man was shot dead inside a Prospect Lefferts Gardens bodega Thursday night, police said.

Dwayne Smith, 41, was repeatedly shot in the torso inside KHF Bodega on Flatbush and Parkside avenues just before 10 p.m., said police.

Emergency responders rushed Smith to Kings County Hospital, but doctors were unable to save his life, police said.

No arrests had been made as of Friday morning, according to police.

Smith was a Prospect Lefferts Garden local and lived on Lenox Road.
