(UPDATE) Missing Crown Heights Senior Located, NYPD Says

UPDATE: Lydia Berg, a missing Crown Heights senior, has been located and is safe, police said.

UPDATE: The NYPD said Thursday that Lydia has been located, and is safe.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A missing 72-year-old Crown Heights resident hasn't been seen since Monday, police said.

Lydia Berg (pictured above) was last seen at her home, located at 565 Crown St., on Sep. 6 at about 11:15 a.m., according to the NYPD.

Detectives describe her as standing about five-foot-two-inches tall and weighing 120 pounds. She has a thin build, gray hair, a light complexion and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Lydia can confidentially report it using the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers website or by anonymously calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
