Modell's Opening on Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights
Modell's is opening its new Crown Heights store next week, after taking over the former East New York Savings Bank on Eastern Parkway.
CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Modell's is opening its new Crown Heights location next Thursday, Aug. 25, a district manager with the company has confirmed.
The sporting goods store is operating out of the former East New York Savings Bank, located at 1117 Eastern Pkwy. The stately stone building was landmarked this past March.
The store will be open seven days per week, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, the manager said.

He also said that Modell's is hiring for the location, with salaries dependent on experience. Those interested should explore opportunities and fill out applications online.
