NYC'S Top Rated Subway Station Is In Prospect Heights
This Brooklyn station is the creme de la creme of New York City subway stations, according to city straphangers.

PROSPECT HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — It's not typical to be proud of your subway stop, but Prospect Heights residents can feel free to boast that they have the top-rated subway station in all of the Big Apple, according to a MTA survey.
The survey, released on Monday during a MTA committee meeting, heard from about 175,000 respondents when it came to subway lines last June.
Listed in the survey were the top five highest rated subway stations, with the Eastern Parkway/Brooklyn Museum 2/3 stop at the top of the list.

Cited criteria for the high rankings were personal security (at 79% of customers satisfied), people behaving erratically (72%) and cleanliness (87%).
Part of the reason for the high rankings may have to do with the station's nearly $29 million, two-year-long makeover concluding in late 2020, resulting in numerous upgrades. The most notable change was the inclusion of a street-level elevator, making the station one of the few fully accessible stations citywide.

But just because people like the shiny, new station, it doesn't mean they like the trains that run through it. The 2 train was rated at 44%, while the 3 train fared slightly better at 46%.
Overall, subway satisfaction rates hovered just under 50% citywide.
