Murdered Man Found Slumped On Crown Heights Stoop, Cops Say
A 60-year-old man found fatally wounded on a Crown Heights stoop Tuesday was murdered, police announced Friday.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A 60-year-old man found slumped on a Crown Heights stoop Tuesday morning was murdered, police said Friday.
Police discovered an unconscious and injured Gary Smith, 60, on the red steps outside 260 Schenectady Ave. near Lincoln Place about 4:50 a.m., according to the NYPD.
Emergency responders rushed Smith, who had suffered wounds to the face, to Kings County Hospital where he later died, police said.

Smith lived at the Albany Houses, just a few blocks away from where he was found, according to police.
The below listed incident has been deemed a Homicide. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
