Police Search For Prospect Lefferts Credit Card Thief: NYPD

The person used a woman's credit card to buy alcohol in Nassau County, police said.

PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS, BROOKLYN — A Brooklyn woman's credit card was stolen and then used in a Nassau County liquor store, police said.

On Jan. 27, a 67-year-old woman had left her credit card on a MetroCard machine in the Parkside Avenue subway station, officials said.

An unknown person took the victim's credit card from the machine and it was later used by a man at a Long Island liquor store in Westbury, police said.

Officials couldn't say if the theft and the use of the card was done by the same person.

Police released a photo of the individual.
