Popular Brunch Spot To Reopen In Crown Heights Next Month: Report
Williamsburg's hyper-popular spot, Egg, will reopen as Little Egg on Washington Avenue this spring, reports EaterNY.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A brunch classic will be reborn in Crown Heights this spring.
First announced last November, EaterNY now reports that the revamped version of the Williamsburg classic Egg, called Little Egg, will serve up breakfast and lunch, and any meal that falls in between, starting in April.
Returning to Little Egg at 657 Washington Ave., the previous home to MiMi's Diner and pop-up space KIT, is former Egg chef Evan Hanczor, who told EaterNY in November that the new spot will be "a little sibling to what Egg was in Williamsburg."

Former owner George Weld is a partner at the new Little Egg, Hanczor said to EaterNY, but is not involved with operations.
Egg was a bunch hotspot in Williamsburg for 15 years until the owners decided to close up shop during the height of the pandemic in September 2020.

Little Egg will feature an abbreviated version of their take on classic Southern comfort dishes, and will add pastries to the menu baked by Tanya Bush, who also founded Cake Zine, reports EaterNY.
