Woman Strangled Inside Her Prospect Lefferts Building: Police
The man followed a woman into her apartment building and attacked her from behind, police said.

PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS, BROOKLYN — A woman was strangled from behind as she entered her apartment building last week, police said Friday.
The 26-year-old woman was followed into her building near Washington Avenue and Montgomery Street in Prospect Lefferts Gardens shortly before midnight on Tuesday, Dec. 6, police said.
The stranger grabbed her from behind but she fought him off and screamed, at which point he ran way, police said.

No injuries were reported and no property was stolen, police said.
Police surveillance video of the suspect, whom they describe as standing 5 foot 8 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds.
