Boy, 3, Killed In Queens Hit-And-Run: NYPD

The driver of a 2014 Infiniti ditched the vehicle a few blocks away from where they fatally struck the boy Wednesday evening, police said.

QUEENS, NY — A 3-year-old boy died after a hit-and-run along a Queens street, police said.

The boy was struck Wednesday about 6:40 p.m. at College Point Boulevard and 41st Avenue, authorities said.

The crash unfolded as the driver of 2014 Infiniti pulled away from a curb, NYPD officials said.

The driver sped off after hitting the child, and ditched the vehicle a few blocks away near Pople Avenue, police said.

Medics rushed the boy to New York-Presbyterian Queens, where doctors pronounced him dead, authorities said.
