- A homeless man has been accused of terrorizing a Queens neighborhood, and business owners are seeking answers. Harry Panagiotopoulos, the owner of Astoria's The Sweet Spot Sporting Bar, has surveillance footage that shows 42-year-old David Stack allegedly throwing a rock at an employee of the bar. Stack, who had 12 prior arrests for similar crimes, was arrested by NYPD and was charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, and harassment for the crime. (Fox5NY)
- On Wednesday, police arrested a 13-year-old boy in Cambria Heights in relation to a shooting. According to NYPD, two teenagers — a 16-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy — were shot at around 4:50 p.m. on Wednesday on Linden Boulevard and 207th Street, near Q492 Campus Magnet High School. Both victims were transported to Cohen Children's Medical Center. After police recovered a firearm, the 13-year-old was arrested and charged with assault, possession of a weapon, and reckless endangerment. (Patch)
- On Tuesday, Rapper Cardi B was given an extension to complete her community service stemming from a 2018 Queens strip club attack. The Grammy Award-winner, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, was supposed to complete her service by Tuesday; however, she had not completed any of the required time. Now, the 30-year-old has until Mar. 1 to complete the 15 mandatory community service days. (NBC New York)

- The Queens Botanical Garden has announced Snowing & Growing, a new program for kids ages 4-10. The event is taking place on five Saturdays in February and March. Participants will have fun outdoors by finding what blooms in winter and doing hands-on activities indoors! (Queens Botanical Garden via Facebook)
- Queens Theatre will be hosting two performances of Cenicienta: A Bilingual Cinderella Story on Jan. 22 at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here. (Queens, New York via Facebook)
