  1. Flights will completely cease at JFK International Airport's Terminal 2 after Sunday, Jan. 15. Delta departures have already stopped in the terminal as part of the state's plan to build a new Terminal 1 across the current Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and the demolished Terminal 3. Inbound Delta flights will continue at Terminal 2 through Jan. 15 and then will switch over to all operations at Terminal 4 on Jan 16. (Patch)
  2. A custodian at Public School 200, the Magnet School of Global Studies and Leadership, in Queens, has been charged with public lewdness and acting in a manner injurious to a child. Alan Fung, 37, was charged after police say two boys walked into a classroom around 3:00 p.m to retrieve a cell phone that was left and found Fung with his pants down and genitals exposed. As of Tuesday afternoon, Fung's arraignment was pending at Queens Criminal Court. (New York Daily News)
  3. The inaugural Queens Best Pizza Competition will kick off on Friday, Jan. 13. Votes for the best pizza in Queens can be placed here and voting will end on Jan. 23. President and CEO of the Queens Chamber of Commerce, Tom Grech, said: "Queens unquestionably has the best pizza around, and in every neighborhood, in our borough, you can easily find a great slice or pie."
