91-Year-Old Smashes Sports Car Into Queens Home: Report

The driver had his pet chihuahua at his side.

RIDGEWOOD, QUEENS -- A 91-year-old man and his chihuahua companion went for an unexpected wild ride that ended against the brick wall of a Queens home on Thursday.

The man was driving his bright red Chevrolet Camaro out of a Richmond Hill body shop when he lost control of the sports car and went flying into a nearby home, The New York Post reported.

The crash happened at around 10:42 a.m. immediately after the driver pulled out of the Grand Turismo Auto Tech shop, located at 130-16 89th Road. He smashed into the brick home at 155-46 77th St., barreling over some bushes, crushing an iron gate and skimming a tree in the process, an FDNY spokesman told The Post.
